Capital Insight Partners Seeks Proven Bank Executives Looking for New Banking Opportunities; Firm to Act as Conduit With New Institutional, Private Equity Investors
July 28, 2009

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - July 21, 2009) - Capital Insight Partners, specialists in bank capital raising, strategy and financial communications, is seeking successful commercial bank executives nationwide -- both current and former -- who are open to new opportunities in the banking industry.

"There's a unique opportunity currently for those with a proven track record in banking to connect with some of the new equity sources, including private equity and institutional groups," said Jacob Eisen, Capital Insight Partners Managing Director. "Many of the investors are new to the banking industry, yet they recognize that there's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build or expand exceptional banking franchises. They're actively seeking individuals who have built businesses, managed mergers and acquisitions, and created growth and stakeholder value."

Eisen, who frequently writes about emerging options for bank investing and capital raising, believes his firm is well-positioned to serve as a conduit between investors and qualified banking executives. "We talk daily to a wide range of investors and investment groups looking to back exceptional bank management teams."

Expanding its focus in the banking industry, Capital Insight Partners recently retained 30-year commercial banking veteran Eliot Stark as a Detroit-based managing director. Stark, who has been involved with more than 50 M&A transactions and was an executive at several publicly traded institutions, said: "Today's competitive environment will benefit the best operations and the most experienced managers. There are many folks that have owned, managed, and sold successful banks and are looking to repeat the process, but don't know how to obtain additional capital partners."

Eisen added: "Much of the available cash rests in the hands of private equity or investment groups with similar characteristics to private equity investors. These investors may or may not have previously participated in bank acquisitions or capitalization; however, they recognize the opportunity presented by the across-the-board devaluation of banks.

"We are already working with management and investment teams to help them identify acquisition targets and obtain additional capital partners," Eisen noted. "The goal of this initiative is to serve as a conduit, bringing together proven bank executives and owners with a wide range of investors and investment groups. These investors want to back exceptional bank managers and owners with track records of building banks, managing mergers and acquisitions, and creating growth and stakeholder value."

With extensive contacts among the institutional and private equity community, Capital Insight plans to identify executives, owners and management teams and piece them together with investors. The firm seeks to build relationships with senior banking executives and current or former bank owners, and welcomes contact from these individuals.

"We are talking with many current and former bank executives and owners with the talent and desire to usher in a new era of banking," said Stark. "Unlike the banking boom a few years ago, when it seemed nearly anyone could obtain financing and open a bank, today's competitive and challenging environment will reward only the best operations and the most experienced managers."

Eisen concluded: "While some might call the new breed of investors and investing groups non-traditional, we see them as an enthusiastic and virtually untapped source of capital. They are diligent and demanding, but also more than willing to back an opportunity with justifiable prospects for return on investment. We offer a fresh perspective with strong internal resources in finance, investment banking and bank operations, and alliances with some of the best minds in the commercial banking industry. We are anxious to find additional forward-thinking and proven commercial banking executives and owners able to drive tremendous returns for investors during the next few years."
