David Fields

With experience in analytics, financial modeling, and capital-raising, Dave puts his diverse talents and experience to work finding optimal solutions for a wide range of companies.  As an Analyst in the Global Portfolio Management group at Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Dave was involved in all aspects of leveraged and investment grade loan underwriting with responsibilities including but not limited to credit analysis, financial forecasting, and valuation. His deal experience includes acquisition finance, bridge loans, leveraged recapitalizations, asset-backed loans, and distressed situations.  Dave’s duties at Citigroup also included managing a $2 billion loan portfolio with exposure to the industrial, consumer, retail and homebuilding industries.  Dave previously served as an analyst in the Structured Products and Derivatives Marketing group at JP Morgan Securities Inc. where he marketed Interest Rate Derivatives, and in the public finance group of Allison Williams Co., where he developed project cash flows and modeled financial operations. He received a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and is a Level III CFA Candidate.

Adam Sinovic
Adam brings to Capital Insight Partners a diverse background in finance. Adam was most recently a corporate finance analyst with Pfingsten Partners, a private equity partnership with more than $800 million of available investment capital. He has extensive experience in providing valuation and analytical support to management, assists in deal financing and investor outreach and producing deal-related materials.

Adam has also worked with a top-producing financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, followed by an engagement at JP Morgan Chase as a financial analyst for the company’s institutional sales and support business. Following graduation from North Park University with a BS in Finance, he joined a property management firm in Chicago as a financial analyst.

Cindy Martin
Trained as a journalist, Cindy Martin began her career as a reporter for a Phoenix community newspaper chain. After a brief stint in corporate communications for a major telecommunications company - which brought her to the Windy City - she switched to the agency side of the business, holding management positions with three Chicago public relations agencies, most recently The Financial Relations Board (FRB). While at FRB, she provided strategic counsel to publicly traded companies in many industries, and secured positive news coverage for them in a variety of trade, local, regional and national media. Cindy also spent more than a decade as a sole practitioner specializing in writing and media relations for clients in many industries. During that time, she served as trade media contact for the nation's third largest corporate travel management company, developing and implementing communications plans for the company's two mergers with a three-year period.

She also worked with five divisions of a multi-national petrochemical company, and was selected to serve as the only non-employee on its internal communications committee. Cindy is an honors graduate of Arizona State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in journalism. She completed graduate work at Arizona State University, the University of Illinois, and the University of Phoenix.

She has received a number of professional awards, including a Public Relations Society of America Award of Excellence in 2002 for an investor relations program implemented on behalf of a major pharmaceutical services company.

Clancy Ryan
From entrepreneurial ventures to Fortune 500 companies, Clancy Ryan has earned the reputation as a leader and innovator in sales, finance and technology. Clancy serves as director of business development for Glu Mobile (Nasdaq: GLUU), a global publisher of innovative games for mobile phones, delivered through the leading cell service providers. To drive demand for Glu's portfolio of top-rated games, he has been instrumental in helping develop content for and partnerships with gaming leaders like Activision, Harrah's, Hasbro, Sony and Warner Bros. During his career, he has managed sales and development for The Discovery Channel, Penske Logistics & Leasing (Rollins), and Bank of America (Sky Financial). Clancy also founded 3D Wireless Games, which was eventually sold to Superscape Group PLC.

He is an adjunct professor at DePaul University School of Business, Chicago, and director of the school's sales leadership program. Clancy helped design the Sales Leadership Center (SLC) program and taught its first class. The SLC has become the largest collegiate sales program in the country.

He holds an M.B.A. from the Kellstadt Graduate School at DePaul University and a B.A. from DePaul.

Thomas Romano

Tom is a Managing Director of McConnell, Budd & Romano, Inc., an investment banking firm specializing in the financial services industry, Highlander Capital Group (HCG), a full service broker/dealer, and Highlander Capital Management, LLC, an SEC registered investment advisory firm based in Parsippany, New Jersey. He has over 30 years of investment, financial analysis and management experience. He began his career with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., where he was a senior vice president supervising the firm's domestic ''Bankwatch'' group. This service provided credit risk ratings on financial institutions, and advised mainly Fortune 500 companies and governmental agencies on the credit and operational risks associated with their banking relationships. In 1992, Mr. Romano and several associates established MB&R, which operated as a FINRA member broker/dealer and investment banking firm specializing in community banks and thrifts. Tom established and ran the firm's equity research function, which published sell side research reports and recommendations on individual companies and topics of general industry interest. In 2004, he moved to the firm's corporate finance group, where he now advises bank and thrift clients. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. in Accounting

Ezra Marbach
Ezra is an entrepreneur and investor. He was a member of the core group that built SeekingAlpha.com, a major destination site for Internet-based equity research by asset managers, financial newsletters and bloggers. In his product development role, Ezra spearheaded an effort to educate public companies on the power and importance of financial blogs to their investor relations outreach. He also developed a variety of innovative strategies to help public companies more effectively communicate with targeted groups of institutional investors online. Previously, Ezra worked for a venture capital firm in China, ran business development for Internet-based venture capital firm UniversityAngels.com, and was an analyst in the corporate finance department of Gerard, Klauer, Mattison, a NY-based boutique investment bank. Ezra has been quoted in IR Magazine, contributed to NIRI publications, and consulted to investor relations firms, public relations firms and public companies throughout the United States and China on financial blogging and Web 2.0. Ezra holds a B.A. from Cornell University.

Charles D. Weinles
With more than 30 years' experience as an organizational consultant and sales management executive, Chuck has a strong perspective on effective sales outreach and business strategy. His diverse experience includes consulting and launching new products and services, including new Internet-based financial data services while an Executive Vice President at Zacks Investment Research and numerous business-to-business services during a distinguished 20 year career with Xerox Corporation. He has developed new business marketing and sales for executive compensation and non-qualified retirement plans. He has served as Vice President at Clark Consulting, General Manager at Gevity, and Vice President of Client Services at Right Management Consultants.

Chuck holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Between 2001 and 2006 he served on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Compensation Committee for Chicago-based New Century Bank, a fast growing small business focused bank.


Adam Strauss

Adam is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and co-portfolio manager of The Appleseed Fund, operated by Pekin Singer Strauss Asset Management. The Appleseed Fund is a socially responsible mutual fund and was ranked in 2008 as the top performing mid-cap value and socially responsible fund by Lipper.  Strauss is a partner at Pekin Singer Strauss Asset Management, a $500 million asset manager based in Chicago.  Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Adam served in several operating roles, as Sr. Vice President of Corporate Development at EquipNet, Inc. (2000-2004) and as VP of Business Development at Frontier Natural Brands (1997-2000).  In addition, Adam currently serves on the Board of Directors of Frontier Natural Brands.  Adam began his career as a management consultant, working for Gemini Consulting (1992-1994) and, prior to that, for Andersen Consulting (1991-1992). Adam earned a BA from Stanford University in 1991 and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1997.
